The International Festival of Antarctic Film on Environment and Sustainability (FICAMS), is a festival focused on issues of the environment and sustainability. Address issues on global warming, renewable energy, recycling, environment and sustainability . Its objective is to raise awareness and environmentally educate the community, as well as generate awareness in favor of the white continent: Antarctica.
Since 2011, FICAMS has been held every year in the extreme south of Chile, in the cities of Punta Arenas and Puerto Williams, places where there are no movie theaters. In addition to exhibitions and workshops, neighborhood meetings are held, activations in libraries and schools with students in vulnerable situations, prisons, educational centers, cultural centers and commercial movie theaters.
In our 9th edition, Renewable Energies we are pleased to share with FICAMS, the same values and objectives related to the care of the environment and sustainability for a better world.
