Ana Sofía García Camil has a Bachelor’s in Communication from the Iberoamerican University, Laguna Campus and has taken a variety of continuing courses from Radio Educación, the Manuel Buendía Foundation, CONACULTA and the General Directorate for Popular and Indigenous Cultures.
She is a career public servant and has worked as head of the Regional Museum of Laguna and as an honorary regional manager of the Social Participation Committee of the campaign organized by the state of Coahuila called En Equipo Contra la Marginación (Together Against Marginalization).
Ana Sofía has been renowned for her work in promoting art and culture. As Culture Secretariat, she is constantly working on activities that encompass arts and traditions across Coahuila.
