Producer and Filmmaker
Graduated from the Iberoamerican University, Sandra García Velten has worked as a reporter for the newspaper Reforma and, for eight years, as a staff writer at Canal Once, focused on projects aimed at children and adolescents.
Sandra has developed many projects as a creative, head writer and scriptwriter for production companies and television channels such as Lemon Films, Nao, Fluxus, Editorial Clío, Corazón Films, Mercado Negro, Once TV, Univisión, SPR, Canal 22 and Discovery Channel.
In 2012, she wrote the series Paramédicos based on true stories. After the first season, the number of applicants to become Red Cross paramedics doubled. Thanks to this response, Canal Once collaborated with FOX USA and Netflix to ensure wider distribution for the series in its second season.
